The PPC V2 Dashboard

Access via PPC from the main menu at the top of the screen. The PPC menu lists three columns — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Displays — each containing a link to every entity view available for that ad type (Campaigns, Ad Groups, Products, Keywords, Search Terms, Targets, and so on).

The dashboard URL is of the form:

/ppc_v2/dashboard/{ppc_type}/{entity_type}/{aggregate_mode}
  • ppc_type — sp, sb, or sd
  • entity_type — the entity currently in focus (for example campaigns, ad-groups, ad-keywords, search-terms, targets, products, products-by-campaign)
  • aggregate_mode — summary or daily

Overview

The PPC V2 Dashboard is a single unified screen that replaces the separate SP, SB, and SD dashboards that existed before. Regardless of which menu entry you arrived from, the whole screen is one application; every selector below rebuilds the view without reloading the page.

From top to bottom, the dashboard is organised as:

  1. Page title and date range — switch PPC type (SP / SB / SD) and pick the date range.
  2. KPI tiles — four summary tiles for the current selection.
  3. Historical chart — day-by-day series for the same selection.
  4. Entity tabs — pick which entity type the table below represents (Campaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords, etc.).
  5. Table header — table views, Summary / Daily toggle, sort, filters, download, and other datatable controls.
  6. Entity table — one row per entity (or per entity per day in Daily mode).
  7. Filter panel — campaign / ad-group scoping and per-metric operator-based filters.

Page Title and Date Range

The page title is a compact set of controls:

  • PPC Type dropdown — shows the current ad type label (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, or Sponsored Displays). Clicking it lists the other two. Selecting one swaps the entire dashboard to that type without a page reload.
  • Date Range Selector — the standard SellerLegend date range picker. Changing the range refreshes the KPIs, chart, and table together.

Switching PPC type resets the entity tabs and the table to that type's default entity (Campaigns). Filters clear on type or entity switch and must be re-applied.

KPI Tiles

Four tiles sit above the chart. Each is recomputed for the current PPC type, date range, and any filters that affect the table.

Measures

  • PPC Impressions — number of times your ad was displayed.
  • PPC Clicks — number of ad clicks.
  • CTR — click-through rate, calculated as clicks divided by impressions.
  • Conversion — conversion rate, calculated as same-SKU orders divided by clicks.

Same SKU

Orders and sales attributed to the same SKU that was clicked.

  • Orders — same-SKU order count.
  • Sales — same-SKU sales in the selected currency.
  • Profit — present where profit can be calculated (Sponsored Products and Sponsored Displays). Profit equals same-SKU sales minus COGS and FBA fees for the units sold, minus PPC spend.

+ Other SKU

Orders and sales attributed to a different SKU than the one clicked (for example, a shopper clicks a red shirt ad and buys a blue shirt). The tile also shows combined totals:

  • Total Orders — same-SKU plus other-SKU orders.
  • Total Sales — same-SKU plus other-SKU sales.

PPC Costs

  • Total Spend — total ad spend for the selection.
  • Cost / Order — average spend per order.
  • Avg Cost / Click — average cost per click.
  • ACoS — advertising cost of sales. Formula: Spend / Sales × 100.

Historical Chart

Below the tiles is a day-by-day chart of the same data. The legend on the right groups metrics into four categories: Sales, Cost, Measures, and Performance. Click any metric to toggle its series on or off. The legend state is saved per user across all SellerLegend charts.

The chart updates together with the tiles when the date range or any filter changes.

Entity Tabs

A row of tabs sits between the chart and the table. Each tab represents one entity type for the current PPC type:

PPC TypeEntity tabs
Sponsored ProductsCampaigns, Ad Groups, Products, Per Product / Campaign, Keywords, Search Terms, Targets
Sponsored BrandsCampaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords
Sponsored DisplaysCampaigns, Ad Groups, Products

Switching a tab swaps the table below for the selected entity. Neither the KPI tiles nor the chart change — they always reflect the overall PPC type selection; only the table changes perspective.

Table Header Controls

Just above the table:

  • Default View selector — pick one of your saved table views (column set, column order, sort). The default view is always available; additional views can be saved from the table's column menu.
  • Summary / Daily toggle — switch between one row per entity (Summary) and one row per entity per day (Daily). In Daily mode the Period column shows the specific date for each row.
  • Sort dropdown — choose which column the table is sorted by. The arrow next to a column header inverts the sort direction.
  • Filter icon — opens the filter panel described below.
  • Download — exports the current table to CSV or Excel, respecting all applied filters, sort, and column visibility. Large exports are queued and you are notified when they are ready.
  • Clear filters — one-click removal of all applied filters.

Entity Table

Each row represents one entity for Summary mode, or one entity per day for Daily mode. Columns differ per entity type but always include the standard PPC measures: impressions, clicks, CTR, avg CPC, total spend, orders, sales, conversion rate, ACoS. Sponsored Products and Sponsored Displays tables additionally include Profit and ACoP.

Column behaviour:

  • Sorting — click a column header to sort; click again to invert. The Period column is sortable on the underlying date.
  • Resizing — drag the column divider to change width.
  • Freezing — a small arrow in the first scrollable column lets you freeze it; unfreeze with the arrow on the last frozen column.
  • Column visibility — open the column menu to hide or show any column. Saved per view.

Product-aware tables (SP Products, SP Per Product / Campaign, SD Products) include the Product column with image, SKU, ASIN, parent ASIN, and title. The action menu on each row links to the Analytics view and, where applicable, the product's history page.

Filter Panel

Click the filter icon in the table header to open the filter panel on the right. It has two sections.

Campaign and Adgroup Info

Two autocomplete dropdowns scope the dashboard to a single campaign or a single ad group. When a campaign is selected, the ad group dropdown is filtered to that campaign's ad groups. Applied values appear as tags above the table.

PPC Metrics

One row per metric. Each row has:

  • A metric label (for example Impressions, ACoS, Profit).
  • An operator dropdown: Equals, Greater than, Less than, Not equal, Between. Leaving it blank disables the filter for that metric.
  • A value input (or two inputs for Between).

The metrics available here come from the current adapter:

  • All ad types: Impressions, Clicks, CTR, Avg CPC, Total Spend, Orders, Sales, Conv. Rate, ACoS, Spend / Order.
  • Sponsored Products (when the entity supports profit): Profit, ACoP.
  • Sponsored Brands: New-to-Brand Orders, New-to-Brand Sales.
  • Sponsored Displays: Profit, ACoP.

Filters are applied as HAVING conditions on the aggregated query, so they work exactly the same in Summary and Daily modes. Pressing Filter at the bottom of the panel applies them; Reset clears them; Save persists the current combination as a named filter set; Load Filters recalls a previously saved set.

Currency

All currency values are shown in the marketplace's configured currency, converted from account currency where necessary. The currency symbol in the KPI tiles and table is determined by the current account. Changing the account from the top-left account switcher reloads the dashboard in the new account's currency.

Performance and Data Freshness

  • Amazon PPC sales reporting is delayed by 24–48 hours. The most recent one or two days may be incomplete.
  • Switching PPC type, entity, or aggregate mode is served by a single AJAX request that streams the new table, chart, and KPIs together — there is no full page reload.
  • Filter changes refresh the chart and KPIs from a dedicated analytics endpoint so the three stay in sync.

Tips

  • Use the Daily aggregate to spot the day a campaign started misbehaving, then flip back to Summary and filter on (say) ACoS > 100 to find all campaigns with the same issue over the period.
  • Freeze the Campaign Name or Product column so the identifier stays visible while you scroll horizontally through metrics.
  • Save different column sets as table views — one focused on spend and ACoS, another focused on impressions and clicks — and swap between them with the Default View selector.
