Overview ​

We've introduced powerful chart aggregation capabilities across the platform, allowing you to view your sales and performance data at different time intervals. This enhancement provides more flexibility in analyzing trends and patterns in your business data.

What's Changed ​

Sales Statistics Dashboard -- Period Aggregation Fixed ​

The Sales Statistics Dashboard now properly supports viewing data aggregated by different time periods. Previously non-functional period selection has been restored, allowing you to analyze your sales data by:

  • Day
  • Week
  • Month
  • Quarter
  • Semester
  • Year

Home & Product Dashboards -- New Aggregation Controls ​

Both the Home Dashboard and Product Dashboard now feature enhanced chart controls with period aggregation:

New Dropdown Control:

  • Located in the Chart tab for easy access
  • Switch between daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semester, and yearly views
  • Data automatically aggregates based on your selection
  • Maintains consistency across all chart elements

Chart Notes -- Enhanced Aggregation Support ​

Chart notes now intelligently aggregate along with your selected time period:

  • Notes remain associated with their data points even when switching between aggregation periods
  • Improved date format handling supports all aggregation levels
  • Notes are properly displayed regardless of the selected time interval

Visual Improvements ​

Updated Note Indicators:

  • Chart notes now use a more intuitive comment bubble symbol instead of location markers
  • Better visual distinction makes notes easier to identify on charts

Improved Date Formatting:

  • Chart note dates in the legend now display in a more readable format
  • Consistent date presentation across all aggregation levels

  • Zoom out to see long-term trends by viewing data monthly or yearly
  • Zoom in to daily views for detailed analysis of specific periods
  • Compare periods more effectively with consistent aggregation across all metrics

Impact ​

No action required. These improvements are automatically available in the Home Dashboard, Product Dashboard, and Sales Statistics Dashboard. Your existing data and notes are preserved and will display correctly in all aggregation views.
