Sales Heat Map V2 ​

Overview ​

A new Sales Heat Map V2 is now available in the Sales menu. This updated version uses the same optimized data loading approach as the new Orders page, providing faster performance and a more consistent experience. The original Heat Map remains accessible but is deprecated and will be removed in a future update.

What's New ​

Improved Performance ​

  • Optimized Data Loading: Heat Map V2 uses the same efficient filter mechanism as the new Orders page
  • Faster Load Times: Experience quicker chart rendering when switching between views or date ranges

Enhanced Chart Tooltips ​

  • Currency-Aware Display: Revenue and Profit views now properly show your currency symbol in all tooltips
  • Detailed Time Information: Hover over heat map cells to see the exact date, hour range, and value
  • Cleaner Formatting: Numbers are properly formatted based on whether you're viewing Units, Revenue, or Profit

Chart Tools ​

  • Save as Image: Export any chart as an image for reports or presentations
  • Zoom: Zoom into specific areas of the charts for detailed analysis
  • Reset View: Quickly return to the default view after zooming

Streamlined Navigation ​

  • Inline Dropdowns: View type and date range selectors are now conveniently located in the page title area
  • Cleaner Layout: Less cluttered interface with controls right where you need them

How to Use ​

  1. Go to Sales in the main menu
  2. Click on Heat Map V2 (marked with a "new" tag)
  3. Use the dropdown menus next to the title to switch between Units, Revenue, or Profit views
  4. Select your preferred date range (by week, month, etc.)
  5. Hover over chart elements to see detailed values
  6. Use the toolbox on the right side of each chart to save, zoom, or reset
