Advanced Analysis
For deeper insights, try combining multiple data points in a single request:
- "Analyze my business health: show top 5 products by profit, any stockout risks, and PPC campaigns that need attention"
- "Find products where I am spending on PPC but not making a profit after all costs"
- "Which products should I restock first based on sales velocity and current inventory?"
Advanced: Reports, Dashboards & Deep Analysis
These prompts ask the AI to pull substantial datasets across multiple SellerLegend tools and turn them into structured deliverables -- spreadsheets, static HTML dashboards, or written analyses. They work well in clients that can render artifacts or export files (Claude.ai, ChatGPT with canvas/code interpreter, Claude Desktop). Expect each to take a few minutes to run as the AI fetches paginated data.
"Build me a monthly P&L workbook for 2026 YTD. For each month, pull revenue, units sold, COGS, Amazon fees, PPC spend, refunds, and net profit -- grouped by brand. Output an Excel file with one sheet per brand and a summary sheet with totals and month-over-month % change."
"Create a static HTML dashboard for my US account covering the last 30 days. Include: (1) daily revenue and profit trend chart, (2) top 20 SKUs by profit with margin %, ROI, ACOS and TACOS, (3) inventory health table flagging any SKU with under 30 days of stock, (4) PPC summary by campaign with spend, sales, ACOS, and conv rate. Use a clean Bootstrap layout I can save and share."
"Do a full PPC audit for the last 30 days across all Sponsored Products campaigns. Pull campaign-level summary, then for the worst 10 campaigns by ACOS drill into ad groups, keywords, and search terms. Produce a CSV of wasted-spend search terms (clicks > 10, zero conversions) and a written summary of which campaigns to pause, optimize, or scale."
"Build a restock priority report. For every SKU with sales in the last 60 days, combine sales velocity, current FBA inventory, inbound shipment quantities, and 30-day profit. Rank by days-of-cover ascending, output as an Excel file with conditional formatting (red < 14 days, yellow 14--30, green > 30) and include estimated lost revenue if each item stocks out."
"Compare all my marketplaces side-by-side for Q1 2026. For each account pull revenue, units, profit, margin %, refund rate, ACOS, TACOS, and top 5 products. Generate a written executive summary plus a comparison table I can paste into a slide deck, and call out the single biggest opportunity and the single biggest risk per marketplace."
Tips for advanced prompts
- Ask for the output format up front ("Excel file", "HTML dashboard", "CSV") so the AI knows to use its file/artifact tools.
- For large date ranges, the AI may need to paginate -- let it work; do not interrupt mid-fetch.
- If a result feels shallow, follow up with "now drill into X" rather than restarting.
- Multi-account reports take longer because each account is fetched separately.
Tips for Best Results
- Be specific with dates -- say "last 7 days" or "March 2026" rather than "recently"
- Mention accounts if you manage multiple -- say "for my US account" or "across all accounts"
- Start simple, then drill down -- ask a broad question first, then follow up with specifics
- Use follow-up questions -- the AI remembers context from earlier in the conversation
