Click on the + New button on the top right of the screen. A popup will appear.
In the Title field, enter a watchlist reason (free format, arbitrary character value)
In the Description field, you can write the details of the watchlist reason.
Click on the Save button
The newly created watchlist reasons are now available for selection when adding a customer to a watchlist (see below)
Adding a Customer To A Watchlist
As you are watchlisting a customer, you need to first locate the customer you want to watchlist
You can locate a customer by two distinct methods :
From the Customers List
Through the menu : Customers –> Customers List
Select the customer you want to watchlist
On the selected Customer row, click on the eye icon in the column Watchlisted
A pop-up appears, with a list of Watchlist Reasons
Either select and tick the box next to one or more of the existing reasons in the dropdown box, or
Create a watchlist reason on-the-fly and assign the customer to the watchlist by entering the watchlist name In the bottom text box of the list
Click on the Save button
The Selected customer will be watchlisted and the reason chosen or entered will be assigned to the watchlist
The icon in the column Watchlisted for the customer you selected will turn from a blue ‘cross-eyed’ icon to a red eye icon, indicating the customer for the order has been watchlisted
The reasons for watchlisting will appear in the column Watchlist Reasons
From the Orders List
Through the menu : Sales — Orders
Select an order belonging to the customer you want to watchlist
Note : the order you select must not be in the Pending Order Status, as pending orders don’t yet have customers assigned
On the selected Order row, click on the icon in the column Watchlisted
A pop-up appears, with a list of Watchlist Reasons
Either select and tick the box next to one or more of the existing reasons in the dropdown box, or
Create a watchlist reason on-the-fly and assign the customer to the watchlist by entereing the watchlist name In the bottom text box of the list
Click on the Save button
The Customer for the selected order will be watchlisted and the reason chosen or entered will be assigned to the watchlist
The icon in the column Watchlisted for the order you selected will turn from a blue ‘cross eyed’ icon to a red eye icon, indicating the customer for the order has been watchlisted
Removing A Customer From A Watchlist
Locate the customer by either the Customers List or the Orders List as described above
Click on the corresponding icon in the Watchlisted column
A pop-up appears, with the list of all reasons the customer has been watchlisted for
To remove the customer from all the watchlisted reasons, click on the Remove All button
To remove the customer from only one or a few of the watchlisted reasons, un-tick the box next to the desired reason(s)
Click on Save
If the customer is still assigned a watchlisted reason, the watchlisted icon will remain red
If the customer is no longer assigned to any watchlisted reasons, the icon will turn blue
